August 4, 2010 "Dear Sheryl, Thank you so much for your participation in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon. This event could not have been the enormous success that it was without Sheryl and Tom Band’s enthusiastic and delightful performance. We had 25,000 runners and record number of spectators plus tons of positive feedback from the racing community regarding the music. We know it’s a big sacrifice to wake up so early and get energized but the Chicago music community really delivered!
We hope the experience was fun for all and that you would consider returning for next year’s event. We will be in touch next spring to begin coordinating entertainment for the 2011 race.
Please except our most sincere thank you and we hope to work with you again in the near future.
All the best,
Carolyn & Michelle"

February 16, 2010 "I have one word regarding the Valentine's Sweethearts Dinner and Dance, "WOW." I would rate the Sheryl and Tom Band the best. I was happy how our congregation took a liking to the group. I thought it was great how outgoing you were to the church. As President of Watson Park Church, we extend a big "THANK YOU" to the band. We look forward to having the band at another function. You warmed our hearts more than you could imagine." Daniel R. Cihak, Watson Park Church President, Chicago
February 14, 2010 "You have no idea the impression you, Tom, and the rest of the band made on the crowd last night. EVERYBODY was extremely complimentary and the congregation president said that he hopes you'll be able to play if we do an outdoor summer event this year. Many comments were made about how warm and outgoing the Sheryl and Tom Duet and Friends are... I think that's a heckuva compliment. I really, really appreciate everything that everyone did last night... it made the evening one that won't soon be forgotten by the folks who were there. I think if we do a summer event it will be VERY well attended after word gets around about the joyful celebration we took part in last night.”

October 26, 2009 “We just wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU to you and the musician friends that played at the Our Lady of the Angels recent 50th Class Reunion. As you could see, we had a terrific time and there's no doubt that your music was what pushed the success of the reunion over the top. You played all those songs and tunes we used to hear when we were kids way back when. And what a good time we had listening, singing along and attempting to dance like we used to do 50 years ago. In spite of our "advanced age" we felt like kids all over again re-living the fun we used to have at sock hops and other dances. Everyone had the most favorable comments about SHERYLANDTOM and we all agreed that your music made the evening a success. Thank you again and again for all you did to make the OLA 50th Reunion such a terrific success. Most didn't want the evening to end and wished we could have stayed all night to dance and chat the evening away. We are grateful that Vito Grimaldi, one of the committee members, gave us the information about your musical abilities, and even happier that we enjoyed it so much. You guys ROCK. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Please keep us posted of local engagements you have. We'd love to listen to the group all over again!!! Annette F. Szafran, Administrative Secretary. Addison Police Department

September 14, 2009 “Thank you so much for helping to make the Wilmette Art Festival so successful. Your musical contribution was outstanding and we have been getting calls all day praising you and saying how much everyone enjoyed listening. I want you to know that I personally thought your music helped make the art show 10,000 times more wonderful. Thank you so much for participating and I hope you can join us again next year.”
Barbara Roseman, Wilmette Arts Guild
September 8, 2009 “I honestly don't even know where to begin to thank you. First of all...you guys ROCKED...seriously. We had the crowd in the building because you created the ultimate audio environment that drew people inside. Add to that your fabulous energy and enthusiasm (and your dancing-with-the-lion skills)...it was just perfect. I really appreciate your willingness to join in something that was so new. I am looking forward to seeing what is next in store for me, but please know that if I EVER have the chance to hire you again I most certainly will. I will also keep tabs on you so I can come and see you perform and experience it all without having to work. :o) You're truly an angel Sheryl...thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please pass my gratitude on to Tom and the rest of the band.”

May 4, 2009 “Sheryl it was my pleasure to come out to hear your jam session!
Hearing the Sheryl & Tom Duet music on the web is not the same as seeing you live, so to get a good feel of how you operate, I HAD to come see for myself. And I'm so glad that I did, it was a great time! The vocals you and Tom have, coupled with his guitar playing and the accompaniment of the keyboard and percussionist, make for a carefree sound that people can't help but bob their head to and tap their feet. Keep playing!” Chandra Fitzpatrick, Account Executive WGN Radio, Chicago, IL
